We present precise predictions for jet observables in ZH production at electron-positron colliders up to NNLO in perturbative QCD. The study considers Higgs boson decays into bottom quarks, charm quarks, and gluons. We highlight differences in differential distributions between these decay modes. The results are relevant for future precision collider experiments.

We investigate heavy-flavour jets groomed with the Soft Drop algorithm using resummed perturbation theory. We perform analytic calculations for the opening angle and momentum fraction of the splitting. Comparisons with Monte Carlo simulations provide a deeper understanding of these substructure observables. The study also explores correlations between Soft Drop variables and heavy-quark fragmentation functions.

We propose a protocol based on Quantum Non-Demolition Measurements (QNDM) to estimate cost function derivatives on a quantum computer. This method allows for the direct estimation of derivatives, reducing the number of circuit iterations required. We show that this approach can also decrease the total number of logical gates needed. The results suggest QNDM is a valuable alternative for implementing variational quantum circuits.

We introduce a new definition of partonic jet flavor in the infrared, based on the net flavor along the Winner-Take-All axis. This definition is robust against soft emissions and handles collinear divergences via a perturbative fragmentation function. We solve the associated evolution equations to leading-logarithmic accuracy. The method allows for a theoretically rigorous definition of jet flavor in QCD.

We propose a novel, infrared and collinear safe jet flavour definition applicable at next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO). The definition relies on the sum of flavours of partons remaining after Soft Drop grooming, reclustered with the anti-kT algorithm. We validate the safety of this prescription using fixed-order numerical codes. This approach enables the use of precise fixed-order calculations for flavoured jet observables.

We perform a phenomenological study of jet angularities in Z+jet production at the LHC. Our predictions combine analytic resummation at NLL accuracy with exact NLO results. We include the effects of soft emissions and non-global logarithms. The results are tailored for comparison with upcoming experimental measurements.
